Ukraine has already received seven batches of humanitarian aid from Canada with a total weight of more than 25 tons to overcome the consequences of Russian aggression.

“Ukraine has already received seven batches of humanitarian aid from the Canadian side with a total weight of more than 25 tons! Currently, we are waiting for transformers of different voltage classes that the energy sector urgently needs, offered by our Canadian partners,” Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko said during a meeting with Canadian Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson, Ukrinform reports.

Galushchenko added that he discussed the need to extend sanctions to the Russian nuclear industry, promising projects for the future and further cooperation on the restoration of the Ukrainian energy sector and the preparation of the next winter with his foreign colleague.

As noted, 30 countries have already provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine’s energy sector, namely 470 shipments with a total weight of about 6,000 tons. They were distributed among 111 companies in the energy sector.
