UK to replace Ukraine as Eurovision host


The UK will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, in place of war-torn Ukraine, the BBC has reported. Ukraine won the 2022 event, earning them the right to host the televised competition, while the UK came in second place. Several cities are vying to host the event, which sees a live audience of around 10,000 spectators, as well as a television audience across the continent.
