UAW and Stellantis reach tentative agreement on new four-year labor contract

United Auto Workers reach tentative agreement with Chrysler parent company Stellantis on a new labor contract, bringing the union closer to ending a historic strike that affected all three automakers and put more than 45,000 workers on the picket lines for six weeks.
The UAW plans to announce the proposed contract as early as Saturday afternoon, according to people familiar with the matter.
