Tyson Fury’s wife Paris Fury told talkSPORT that she expects him to retire from boxing within the next two years.
The “Gypsy King” is on top of the world after knocking out Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight.
He currently reigns as the undefeated WBC heavyweight world champion, but might not extend his reign.
Paris joined talkSPORT Breakfast on Monday and said, “I think for himself, I think he will probably do it for a few more years.
“He’s 33 now – I think maybe until he was 35.
“I know Wladimir [Klitschko] and other men are in their 40s, but do you keep going until you lose?
“I don’t know, I wouldn’t like to see this for Tyson. I wouldn’t want him to continue and there will always be someone who is younger and fresher if you are on the other side of the hill, too far away.
“I just think maybe another two or three years, then Tyson should definitely hang up his gloves.”
The couple have six children to date – three boys and three girls.
Asked about the possibility of the children following in their father’s footsteps, Paris added: “I’m worried about this.
“At the moment none of them seem to want to be a boxer, my oldest son wants to wrestle, my oldest daughter said she wanted to dance, now she wants to run her own business.
“The little ones are all just babies and maniacs.
“I don’t think I would like him at all. I watched Tyson from a young age and he always dominated the scene.
“But watching somebody come up in the ranks and get hit and watch your boy do it, I just couldn’t imagine that.”
“And my daughters, I just think they’re way too soft for that.
“I think the day will surely come. We have six, one of them surely will, but I don’t know what it will look like.
Regarding what they do to relax as a family, she added, “We are really normal people, which probably doesn’t sound right to say.
“We tend to stay at home a lot, we watch TV a lot.
“Netflix, Sky – we’re on them all the time, watching movie channels.
“And then, if we go out, we take the children for a walk, in the parks.
“You can’t go out in public a lot, it’s getting difficult. Tyson is so there now and people respect him so much and want to be around him. It’s literally a nightmare to go anywhere …
“When we went for Tyson’s fight in America, we obviously got a lot of downtime before the fight.
“We burned the first set of Bridgerton – I don’t know if I have to admit it!
“But literally it was so good and we burned the entire first set.
“That’s what we did – we watched excessively the first few hours before Wilder’s fight.
“I have to admit we had to stop at times and quickly move on some scenes.”
