Tyreek Hill compares Dolphins offense to 2019 Chiefs: ‘Same weapons’

Tyreek Hill is back with the comparisons.

On his “Had to say it” podcast last week, the Dolphins’ new wide receiver compared his new team’s offensive lineup to the Chiefs’ explosive 2019 squad — the one that helped capture Super Bowl LIV.

“That 2019 offense with the Chiefs was stupid,” Hill said. “When I go out to train every day, like I said, I see the exact same team. I swear. As explosive as they are dynamic, we have the same weapons.

Tyreek Hill sees similarities between his new Dolphins teammates and the former Chiefs offense.

Hill, who previously said his new quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was more accurate than former MVP Patrick Mahomes, also paid lofty compliments to Miami head coach Mike McDaniel.

“When you add Mike McDaniel to the call plays, I know Andy Reid is great, but when you add [McDaniel] this is crazy,” exclaimed the six-time Pro Bowler. “The way he composes plays and his call timing, I don’t even know what to say, it’s just crazy.”

Hill, who was traded to Miami last offseason after five seasons with the Chiefs, will be paired with Jaylen Waddle next season as the team’s two wide receivers.

Miami’s blockbuster acquisition will hopefully give Tagovailoa more throwing options, besides Waddle, in the fall.
