Hercules officers were called to a Chase bank in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue for a report of an armed robbery suspect following an incident in another jurisdiction who was parked in front of the bank.
Police say the author of the report told them she owned a Modesto dispensary and that one of her drivers, a 25-year-old, had been robbed and assaulted at gunpoint and knifepoint around 5 p.m. Saturday. A device inside one of the containers allowed the dispensary owner to trace the stolen items back to a white Toyota Highlander at the bank.
When police arrived, they arrested the two suspects and searched the vehicle. Police said the gun was stolen in Mississippi and found in the woman’s purse.
The robbery victim then went to the scene and identified the two men as the ones who had attacked him.
