Two German nuclear power plants likely to remain open

According to a second stress test of Germany’s energy system commissioned by Economy Minister Robert Habeck, it might make sense to keep two of the three nuclear reactors still active after the end of the year online. German newspaper Handelsblatt quoted ministry insiders as saying Habeck had to decide whether to continue operating the Isar 2 and Neckarwestheim 2 furnaces for a limited period.
