Twitter has strong feelings after hologram Harry Caray sings 7th inning at Cubs’ Field of Dreams vs. NBC Chicago game

Twitter reacts to Field of Dreams Harry Caray hologram originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Thursday’s Major League Baseball Field of Dreams game in Iowa was a night full of nostalgia for fans and players alike, with many fond memories of baseball from years past.

One of those memories included legendary Chicago Cubs broadcaster Harry Caray, who died in 1998, singing Channel 7th Street — or at least, a holographic version of him doing it.

Rooting for the Cubbies was easy, with Chicago beating the Cincinnati Reds 4-2 in MLB’s second annual Field of Dreams game. But many on Twitter found the hologram a bit of a shame.

While MLB won’t return to the Field of Dreams next year in Dyersville, Iowa, due to construction, the Haray Caray hologram of the 2022 game will live on in infamy, thanks to Twitter.
