Trump hush money trial live updates: David Pecker back on stand for cross-examination

NEW YORK — Donald Trump’s defense team spent Friday morning cross-examining former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker in the trial for tampering with secret records in New York. Pecker answers questions about the Enquirer’s practice of buying and killing stories about celebrities to show it happened well before the 2016 election. Defense attorney Emil Bove said Friday morning that the remainder of his cross-examination of Pecker would take less than an hour.
