Trevor Noah rips flag placement in Madison Cawthorn’s ‘Humping’ video response

Trevor Noah ripped Rep. Madison Cawthorn (RN.C.) Thursday for using an American flag as a backdrop to explain his latest embarrassment. (Watch the video below.)

Footage has been leaked of the far-right lawmaker naked as he “pretends to bump his friend’s face,” Noah said. The clip was shot before Cawthorn became a congressman.

Cawthorn posted a video in which he said growing up in the cellphone age makes it easier for opponents to hurt him and older colleagues don’t face the same challenge.

The host of “The Daily Show” basically agreed. But he took issue with Cawthorn making his statement in front of the stars and stripes.

“Can someone explain to me why the American flag is in this video? He asked. “That flag didn’t bother anyone. Why are you dragging the flag in this bullshit, Madison, huh? You can even see the flag behind like, ‘Ah ah, ah ah, I wasn’t there.’

Since accusing Republican politicians of using cocaine and staging orgies, Cawthorn has been the victim of compromising leaks, which he assumed were an effort to discredit him.

Photos of him wearing women’s lingerie surfaced and a video showed one of his male staff members grabbing his crotch.
