Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham remain very active as we enter the final month of the summer transfer window. Thomas Tuchel is scrambling for new signings, with the Blues now having agreed a £52.5m deal with Brighton for Marc Cucurella.
Chelsea are also preparing a new offer for Inter Milan starlet Cesare Casadei to go along with their imminent signing of Carney Chukwuemeka. They also appear to have hijacked Manchester United’s move for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and are also battling the Red Devils for Benjamin Sesko.
Elsewhere, Tottenham have reportedly made another move for Roma winger Nicolo Zaniolo, as they have also opened talks with Udinese over Italy Under-21 left-back Destiny Udogie.

Chelsea have completed the £52.5m signing of Marc Cucurella from Brighton, pending a medical.
The Blues have agreed a no-cost package and a contract until 2028 for the left-footed defender and Spain international.
It follows Manchester City walking away from protracted talks over Cucurella after having their £40million offer turned down to work on other potential targets.
Thomas Tuchel has long been an admirer of the wing-back, who has been scouted and interested in Chelsea since before the German was appointed manager.

Deal done! Patino joins Blackpool on loan
Blackpool have now announced the signing of Arsenal wonderkid Charlie Patino.
The much-loved Hale End graduate will spend the 2022/23 season on loan at Bloomfield Road, having impressed Mikel Arteta during pre-season.
Patino made two senior appearances for Arsenal in cup competitions last season, scoring on his first-team debut against Sunderland.
He will now be able to test himself in senior football week after week in the Championship, where Blackpool got off to a winning start against Reading on the opening weekend.
“It’s a great opportunity for me, and I think I’m ready to accept it. It’s the next step in my career and I’m really excited to start,” Patino said.
“I spoke to Danny Ballard and Dujon Sterling before coming to the Club and they gave me the praise and said it was an amazing place where everyone is welcome.
“They also mentioned the fans, the Tangerine Army, who are still on their feet home and away. I just can’t wait to play in front of them and show them what I am.
Chelsea sign £52.5m deal with Cucurella
Chelsea have now agreed a deal with Brighton for Marc Cucurella.
This news comes courtesy of Fabrizio Romano, who claims the Seagulls have accepted a bid worth £52.5million for the versatile Spanish full-back.
Cucurella will sign a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, having already agreed personal terms earlier this week. He is due to travel to London for a medical on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Levi Colwill’s permanent move from Chelsea to Brighton on a separate deal is still being discussed.
Tottenham offer £20.9m for Destiny Udogie
A bit more information has emerged on Tottenham’s move for Destiny Udogie.
According to Sky Italia, Spurs have tabled a bid with Udinese worth around €25m (£20.9m) including bonuses.
Antonio Conte is said to see Udogie as a talent for the future and, as mentioned, is ready to let him stay in Serie A on loan for the season.
The 19-year-old only joined Udinese on a permanent transfer last summer after being loaned out by Hellas Verona.

The end of an era at Leicester, which has just confirmed the departure of faithful goalkeeper and club captain Kasper Schmeichel.
The veteran Denmark international has joined French club Nice in an estimated £1m deal, signing a three-year contract.
Schmeichel spent a total of 11 years at Leicester after joining Leeds in 2011, making almost 500 appearances in all competitions and winning four trophies – including the Premier League title in 2015/16 and the 2020/21 FA Cup.

Tottenham open talks over Udogie
Tottenham have reportedly opened talks over a deal with Udinese defender Destiny Udogie.
Fabrizio Romano reports that negotiations between the clubs are still in their early stages, with a lot of interest in the Italy Under-21 international.
He suggests Tottenham might be willing to sign left-back Udogie once in a while and then loan him out to Udinese for the 2022/23 campaign.
Manchester City have also been linked with the 19-year-old in recent days.
Telles prepares for Sevilla medical
One player leaving Manchester United is Alex Telles.
Multiple reports confirm that the Brazilian full-back is on his way to Spain to undergo a medical with Sevilla.
Telles will join the LaLiga outfit on loan for the 2022/23 campaign, with Sevilla paying €2m of his salary.
The agreement does not include a purchase option on a permanent agreement.
Chelsea hijack Man United for De Jong

According to The Times, Chelsea are now ahead of the race to land the versatile Dutch midfielder from Barcelona before the transfer deadline.
They report that De Jong wants to move to London and play in the Champions League with his agent set to meet Barcelona today.
Chelsea are expected to pay a fee of around £71m for the 25-year-old.
Chelsea await Brighton’s response to Cucurella offer
Chelsea are still waiting for Brighton to decide on Marc Cucurella.
That’s by Fabrizio Romano, who says a £50million bid submitted last night for the Spain left-back remains on the table.
Cucurella is said to be keen on a move to Chelsea and has already reached an agreement on personal terms.
Brighton are also keen to sign Levi Colwill on a permanent transfer, although it is a separate deal.
Arsenal aim to fund Tielemans transfer this month
The latest on the Youri Tielemans saga at Arsenal now.
The Belgian midfielder is a long-term target for Mikel Arteta, who is expected to remain keen on adding him to his squad ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline.
