Barcelona open to Chelsea transfer for Aubameyang
Barcelona are ready to agree a deal with Chelsea for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the latest reports.
The former Arsenal captain has been linked with a shock return to the Premier League just seven months after arriving in Spain and a reunion with Thomas Tuchel, with whom he has shared a close bond since his Borussia Dortmund days.
According to the Press Association, Barca are ready to discuss a potential fee with Chelsea for Aubameyang, pushing for a figure above £20million as they look to continue to balance the books at Camp Nou.
PA report that the Blagurana will want a permanent transfer and are ready to let him go at the right price, with Chelsea perhaps ready to take a chance with a loan offer that would see them cover his wages in full.
Guardiola shy on Bernardo’s future at Man City amid Barcelona links
It remains to be seen how Barcelona prepare to pay for Bernardo Silva, although their links with a move for the Manchester City star continue.
Speaking on Friday, City boss Pep Guardiola was coy about the midfielder’s future.
“I want Bernardo at Man City, 100%. He is special. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but he knows how much we love him and want him, how much we love him,” he said.
“But I don’t know what will happen.”

David Moyes sends a new message to Jesse Lingard
David Moyes insists West Ham have done everything they can to bring Jesse Lingard back to the club this summer.
When the 29-year-old’s contract at Manchester United expired, a move back to east London seemed like an obvious move for a player keen to return to England’s pre-World Cup setup.
Lingard scored 9 goals in 16 games for the club during a loan spell two seasons ago and had remained a target, although it was ultimately Nottingham Forest who swooped in.

Carlo Ancelotti retires from Real Madrid
One of the greatest managers of all time will retire after his second trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid.

Chelsea said three signings would ‘guarantee’ Champions League football
Jamie Redknapp believes signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Frenkie De Jong and Wesley Fofana would guarantee Champions League football for Chelsea.
“If they get Fofana, Aubameyang and De Jong, they guarantee Champions League football with that,” he told Sky Sports.
“I’m a big fan of De Jong. I feel sorry for him in a way because he’s in limbo. It looks like he wants to come to London and he’s not too keen on it. go to Manchester. Whoever gets it, it’s a game-changer for them. Chelsea certainly have issues in that area – Jorginho is not long-term in terms of physicality.
“He did brilliantly and was an incredible player for Chelsea winning the Champions League and for Italy winning the European Championships, but De Jong gives them a different dimension with pace and strength, playing at the midfield base, giving N’Golo Kante the license to go do whatever he wants.
“He would be an amazing signing and a real statement of intent if they could beat Man Utd at that one.
“As for Aubameyang, he was such a disappointment at Arsenal towards the end. He did well at Barcelona, but they obviously want to offload him again. As a stopgap for a year, it probably wouldn’t be the worst signing.
“I was quite critical of him last year. I didn’t think he made the effort for Arsenal. It seemed like he wasn’t the same player. But for a season…it’s not a season that would inspire me, but it would come with a small point to prove.
Chelsea agree personal terms with Fofana
Although most of Thomas Tuchel’s attention is on Chelsea’s huge encounter with Tottenham tomorrow, the club continue to be busy in the transfer market.

Kieran Tierney: No transfer talks between Manchester City and Arsenal
Arsenal’s transfer window has been hugely impressive so far, with big names arriving at the club to potentially propel the club into the Champions League places.
With that in mind, the idea of a key player leaving runs counter to the good mood that Mikel Arteta has accumulated over the summer, with Manchester City-linked Kieran Tierney.
Fabrizio Romano, however, stressed that there were no talks between the two clubs.
Ndombele will follow Lo Celso out of Spurs
Tottenham now appear to be making great strides in their quest to get rid of a quartet of unwanted players.
Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon have all been transferred and are training away from their team-mates as Spurs seek to offload them before the September deadline.
While Lo Celso is set to return to Villarreal on another loan deal, fellow midfielder Ndombele is reportedly ready for Napoli.
Fabrizio Romano says an agreement has now been reached between the two clubs for an initial loan which includes an option to buy next summer.
Napoli manager Cristiano Giuntoli reportedly met Ndombele’s agents in Paris this week to discuss personal terms.
Bayern Munich want Havertz to join Mane in attack
Chelsea striker Kai Havertz is targeted for a return to the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.
That’s according to Sport1 in Germany, who claim Bayern previously wanted to exploit Chelsea’s interest in Robert Lewandowski by maneuvering a deal for the former Bayer Leverkusen star.
Lewandowski obviously ended up in Barcelona, where he was eventually signed up ahead of tonight’s La Liga opener against Rayo Vallecano, although Havertz’s pursuit is apparently not over.
Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann is said to still be eyeing the 23-year-old, despite signing Sadio Mane from Liverpool earlier this summer.
