Traditional retail brands woke up to e-commerce post-pandemic, says Bharati Balakrishnan, director of Shopify India

There is a lot of buzz in the retail industry with many new developments, including India’s plans to create an Open Network Digital Commerce Platform (ONDC).

The pandemic years have seen a massive shift towards e-commerce and while much of this has been done through marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart, many retailers have shifted to their own online storefronts.
