A flagship destination in Europe, Spain is doing everything to save its tourism, which represents 2.5 million jobs and 13% of its GDP. By means of a negative PCR test, it reopened its borders to foreign tourists. In the Balearic Islands in particular, Germans and French people flock to enjoy the beaches, as well as the cafes and restaurants, open until 5 p.m. But if the latter can come to Spain, the Spaniards are prohibited from leaving their region, the borders of the autonomous communities being closed. A situation experienced as an injustice by the population as well as tourism professionals.
