Both men came off the bench in the 3-2 loss to Southampton on Wednesday after arriving at the deadline from Juventus.
Antonio Conte said he will make a final decision on his squad after Saturday’s training session.
Midfielder Bentancur impressed from the bench in Wednesday’s dramatic 3-2 loss to Southampton and could come on at the expense of Harry Winks or Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – with Oliver Skipp still injured.
Conte says the Uruguayan is best in a midfield two, suggesting he is unlikely to return to a 3-5-2 system.
Davinson Sanchez had a game to forget against the Saints but Eric Dier is unavailable and Conte has been reluctant to play Joe Rodon in the Premier League so the Colombian could retain his place in the bottom three.
Emerson Royal also struggled, so Matt Doherty or Kulusevski could come in at right-back, while Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura battle for a place in the top three.
Conte acknowledged it could be risky to start Cristian Romero and Heung-min Son for the third time in a week after returning from hamstring injuries, but said the pair were too important to rest.
