ESPN say talks are underway between Spurs and Wolves for a £ 20million deal with the north London club apparently confident in their chances.

An improved offer is expected, with the north London side looking to move closer to £ 25million for the Dutchman, with Ajax also saying an initial loan deal was unattractive.

The Amsterdam outfit may have to switch to David Neres to raise money for a permanent deal, with Spurs also keen on the sale to help their own January transfer cat.

The French midfielder remains happy at the club and is determined to fight for his future and defeat Conte, although Spurs are open to away transfer offers.

Ndombele’s £ 200,000-a-week salary is seen as a problem and so the club may need to be inventive when it comes to player loans or swaps.

According to 90min, Spurs are considering a loan swap deal with Inter Milan for midfielder Stefano Sensi.

But Conte and Paratici are reportedly at odds over Kulusevski, with Calciomercato claiming Conte would prefer a decision for Juventus teammate Weston McKennie. It is also rumored that Newcastle are considering an offer for the Swede.
