Scottie Barnes also started his second year in Toronto well. He scored 21 points against the Hawks, his best total of the season so far. One of his most impressive facets this season has been shooting from deep. He’s hit exactly 50% of his three attempts this season.
Spurs have had an incredible start to the season, winning five of their first seven games this season. After losing their season opener, they have won five of their six games, including a two-game winning streak they enter this one with.
It was an absolutely dominant performance from deep against the Minnesota Timberwolves in their last 107-98 win. Spurs went 40% from beyond the arc while their opponents could only muster a 13% efficiency from three.
It was another terrific performance from Keldon Johnson who has already seen Spurs beat the Timberwolves twice in the season. Johnson scored 25 points on the night, coupled with six rebounds and eight assists.
In their previous game, Johnson made his season-high 33 points against the Bulls, where he shot 50 percent on three, making six three-pointers on the night. He’s averaging 23-5-4, a career-best season so far.

This has the prospect of being an incredibly tough contest. Both teams are pretty underrated at this early stage of the season, but are playing fantastic basketball.
The Raptors are pretty much favored considering the depth and quality of their squad. If Siakam and Barnes fire, Spurs could have their work cut out for them. The Raptors should win.
