A total of 2,638 documents appear in the latest edition of the book, which features more than 80 percent of the new and updated documents.

These include 13-year-old Tommy the Ox from Massachusetts, who stands 6 feet 1 inch tall.

Dane Amanda Staalsoe broke two records by completing thirteen standing straddle jumps in 30 seconds and five straddle scissor transitions in 30 seconds.

Simeon Graham, 15, from Birmingham, won three Guinness World Records titles for most juggles in a minute, with five, six and seven objects.

He has been juggling since the age of seven and was inspired by his record-breaking juggling idols to create his own records.

Tom Enoch, 18, from Leamington Spa, who has Down syndrome, holds 24 fitness-related Guinness World Records titles, according to the publication’s disability classifications.

He performed 25 squats in 30 seconds to achieve the record for the most squats performed in that time and lifted 275 kilograms to achieve the record for the most squats lifted in 30 seconds.

During lockdown, Mr Enoch, who will soon be qualified as a fitness coach, set up an online fitness course ‘TomFit’ which he continues to teach online five times a week and at his after-school club.

“I say it every year, but this is the best edition yet.”

Other record holders include Melody Donchet of France, who achieved the women’s record for most touches of a soccer ball with the sole in one minute by making 227 touches.

The 2024 edition of Guinness World Records is the latest installment with a cover created by artist Rod Hunt.

The underwater-inspired cover reflects the edition’s theme, “Blue Planet.”
