Tommy Fury is set to return to the ring in Floyd Mayweather’s fight against YouTube star Deji in Dubai on November 13.
Last weekend, Tyson Fury’s little brother agreed to rebook a fight with Jake Paul after he diverted Amdana Serrano’s FaceTime call with his promoter following his undercard victory over Joe Joyce over Joseph Parker.
“The Problem Child” is currently linked as he trains for a fight with UFC legend Anderson Silva set to take place Oct. 29 in Arizona.
So, Fury has apparently decided to take an interim fight on Mayweather’s next card which was announced just days after knocking out MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in Japan.
According to a report from BoxingScene, the favorite to face “TNT” later this year is New York-based Puerto Rican light heavyweight Paul Bamba.
The 33-year-old has five wins in his first seven fights after turning pro in 2021. Four of his wins have come close, including his last win over Francisco Morelos earlier this month.
Fury hasn’t fought since earning a unanimous decision victory on his brother’s WBC heavyweight title undercard defense against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April.
The Love Island star dropped out and edged Daniel Bocianski to improve his perfect boxing record to 8-0 before booking an ill-fated fight with Paul for the second time.

Paul and Fury were due to meet for the first time in December 2021 before the Englishman pulled out of the fight due to injury and was replaced by former UFC champion Tyron Woodley who was badly knocked out.
The 23-year-old was given a second chance to fight Paul earlier this year but was unable to travel to America for a pre-fight press conference and was replaced by Hasim Rahman Jr who did not. also couldn’t fight at night.
Fury, who recently announced he was going to be a first-time father, is still determined to fight Paul and the match certainly looks to be on the table for 2023.
However, he needs to improve his record to 9-0 by earning the win over Bamba on Mayweather’s last exhibition fight undercard first.
