Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is looking for the icing on the cake for his illustrious NFL career.
After all, it would be hard to watch another player win seven Super Bowls and play the big game ten times.
Along with chasing another Vince Lombardi Trophy, he could hit 100,000 total yards in his career, a feat hard to match.
Likewise, he has fulfilled his wish to play until he is 45 and shows no signs of slowing down.
But while his competitive spirit is indisputable, Brady knows how to take his body into account.
Consequently, The Athletic’s Greg Auman revealed how the veteran call-to-play is taking it easy during training camp.
Brady therefore had a veteran day last Wednesday, team absent Thursday, excused Friday, practiced Saturday and Sunday, team absent Monday, practiced Tuesday and Wednesday, excused today. He has practiced in three of the last six practices.

Auman tweeted: “So Brady had a veteran day last Wednesday, team out Thursday, excused Friday, practiced Saturday and Sunday, team away Monday, practiced Tuesday and Wednesday, excused today. He has participated in three of the last six practices.
The Buccaneers don’t care if he doesn’t attend practice because they know what he brings once the regular season begins.
He will kick his intensity into another gear as he chases another championship.
Now that Brady is taking it easy, it’s also time for Tampa Bay to see what they have with backups Blaine Gabbert and Kyle Trask.
Brady will push the right buttons
Despite not joining practices, Brady did his homework with his teammates.
He already knows how to maximize running back Leonard Fournette, as well as wide receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.
However, he must learn the tendencies of their new wides, Julio Jones and Russell Gage.
Brady’s preparation is second to none and it won’t be long before he builds chemistry with their additions.
