Tom Brady responded to Shedeur Sanders by saying he went into “Brady mode” while leading the Colorado Buffaloes to a 43-35 double overtime victory over their rival Colorado State Rams.
On Sunday, the seven-time Super Bowl champion posted a frozen face emoji and smoke sniffing emoji on citing the college quarterback, who is the son of NFL Hall of Famer and CU head coach Deion Sanders.
“All I was thinking about was Brady mode, that’s it. Simple,” Shedeur told ESPN after the game while wearing a hat and sunglasses. He was describing his state of mind at the start of the tying game at the Buffaloes’ 2-yard line. “…If he can do it, I know I can do it. We are alike.”
Brady, who retired from football a second time in February, also posted additional comments on Sanders’ remarks on his Instagram Story. Brady has has mentored Sanders since his high school days.
