Today on Sky Sports Racing: Golden Horn’s son to score on handicap debut for Team David Pipe | Race News

Hexham headlines our action on Tuesday with David Pipe sending the unexposed Nibras Gold into a competitive handicap obstacle, live on Sky Sports Racing.

5:25 Hexham – Golden Horn’s son makes handicap debut

Nibras Gold, four years old, is certainly the most interesting runner in the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap Hurdle (5:25) and will likely be favorites under David Noonan for David Pipe’s side.

The son of Golden Horn certainly has an interesting profile, having won one of three starts and finished second on the other two, with victory coming at Worcester.

Well-behaved could be the biggest danger for the Jonathan and George Bewley combo, having recorded two wins in the last four starts.

Last round he was a well beaten third in Cartmel, but it was a 12 rider round at the Class 3 level, and that seems like a step back.

6.55 Hexham – Larry Looby chasing the quintuple

Also on the Hexham card, course and distance specialist Larry Looby notched a victory at the venue before scoring further success at Cartmel and most recently at Sedgefield – he is chasing a quintuple here.

The At The Races App Handicap Chase Expert Tips (6:55) has a very competitive feel to it though, with Storm Lorenzo getting into the shot thanks to three good efforts for the Rebecca Menzies team.

Mah Mate Bob is another in excellent form, having won his last two for the Bewley team, both at Cartmel. Kauto D’Amour for Sue Smith also comes into play.

11:30 a.m. Auteuil – Potential stars exhibit themselves at Auteuil

Many good juvenile hurdlers have won this race over the years, and many big names are represented in the 2022 renewal of the Hurdle Pelat Listed (11h30).

Pearl Of Wisdom is perhaps the most eye-catching, having won easily by six lengths at Clairefontaine for team François Nicolle – regular rider Angelo Zuliani is in the saddle.

Villa Rica have already had five hurdle starts so far, including a Grade 3 win at this stage, despite being beaten at Listed level last time out.
