Also on the map, the Lily Agnes Conditions Stakes (1:30) will see some of this season’s fastest two-year-olds sprint around the Roodee over five furlongs, with Absolutely flawless, Lady’s Star M and Ocean Cloud all unbeaten records in defense.
Hugo Palmer – who now trains in the stables at Michael Owen’s mansion – runs glorious angel.
Palmer’s never given seems to have a favorite chance in the Deep Bridge Handicap (3:40)carrying the weight under Danny Tudhope.
For show jumping fans, Newton Abbot presents a valuable card from 1:15, featuring many well-known stars including Emitom, Bright Red and hang on.
