Much like his older brother, Pittsburgh Steelers edge thrower TJ Watt is one of the most dominant passing throwers in the entire NFL.
Last season with Pittsburgh, Watt recorded 39 quarterback hits, 21 tackles for loss and tied Michael Strahan’s single-season record with 22.5 sacks. He also forced five fumbles while recording three more fumble recoveries.
At Thursday night’s NFL Awards, Watt was recognized for the achievement. In what can’t be considered too big of a surprise, he won NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors.
