A video showing a young child tipping a drag queen with exposed fake breasts has gone viral and sparked outrage from social media users.
The video, share on the @LibsofTikTok Twitter account, was first posted by TikTok user @davidlovesdragok, who noted that the footage was recorded at Hamburger Mary’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan in September, DailyMail reported. Although the clip, seen below, is from last year, it only recently gained national attention on social media.

The footage shows the man, identified by the TikTok account as drag queen “Yara Sofia”, dressed in drag and dancing around the restaurant with large exposed fake boobs bouncing back and forth. When he reaches an older woman holding a child in her lap, the drag queen moves to cover the synthetic breasts while smiling and accepting money from the young child.
He then collects several other people’s bills before heading to the stage and punching the fake tits. A caption on the video simply reads, “OMFG.”
Brad Polumbo, Washington Examiner columnist said that as a “gay person, I absolutely want nothing to do with this,” in response to @LibsoftTikTok’s tweet.
As a gay man, I absolutely want nothing to do with it.
I think a lot of people in the LGBT community would agree with me.
The drag is suitable for adults.
LET CHILDREN BE CHILDREN.
It’s creepy and counterproductive. https://t.co/LGHnt2jAc2

LibsofTikTok’s post received a slew of responses expressing disapproval of the child’s presence at such an event.
“Yara Sofia” is a 38-year-old man named Gabriel Burgos Ortiz from Puerto Rico, who appeared on the TV show Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
Hamburger Mary’s is a franchise with restaurants nationwide. On its website, it describes itself as “an open-air bar and grill for the open-minded,” adding that it “offers a flamboyant dining experience.
The now-closed Hamburger Mary’s in Grand Rapids posted an ad for Yara Sofia’s performance in September, noting that he would be at the restaurant on September 23.
This month, Breitbart News noted that a viral video surfaced featuring “drag queens dancing in front of babies and toddlers at a pride event in Dallas” called “Drag the Kids to Pride “, which was advertised as “family friendly”.
“The event was anything but ‘family friendly,’ as the drag queens danced and lip-synced as the kids offered them cash for their performance like at a strip club,” Breitbart News wrote.
Drag Queen Story Hours, in which men in drag read to young children, have become commonplace in recent years. This week, New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) tweeted his approval of such events, as noted by Breitbart News.
