Tiger Woods update: cause of crash to be released today, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department

Sheriff Alex Villanueva will discuss the findings of the investigation at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET).

Last week, the sheriff said the investigation was over, but he could not release the collision report without permission from the golfer.

Woods was driving a Genesis SUV at around 7 a.m. on February 23 when the vehicle pulled off the road and rolled over.

After weeks in the hospital, Woods is recovering at home.
