Tiffany Haddish was arrested in the early hours of Friday, January 14.
According to the Peachtree Police Department in Georgia, officers responded to a 911 call about a “sleeping driver at the wheel” around 2:30 a.m.
“Along the way, an officer saw a vehicle matching the description,” the deputy police chief said. Matt Myers says E! News, “and ultimately conducted a traffic stop as the vehicle pulled up in the yard of a residence.”
Further investigation led to Tiffany’s arrest for driving under the influence, police say. the Girls’ trip star, 42, was transported to Fayette County Jail.
TMZ obtained documents showing that she posted $1,666 bond and was released from jail at around 6:30 a.m.
E! News reached out to their rep for comment, but did not hear back.
In November, E! News reported that Tiffany, who will soon star in AppleTV+ the after party, had broken up with the actor Commmon after a year of dating.
