The Argentine government declared, Wednesday, November 25, three days of national mourning after the announcement of the death of footballer Diego Maradona, at the age of 60.
A minute of silence will also be observed, Wednesday evening and Thursday evening, during the various matches of the Champions League and the Europa League, announced UEFA, the body that heads European football.
The Naples club, which enjoyed its golden years and its only two Italian football championship titles (1987, 1990) with Diego Maradona, hailed the memory of the Argentine star with a “Ciao Diego” on social networks.
