Threads now lets you cite articles across the web

To cite an article, simply click the two-arrow icon, then click the “cite” option.

Mosseri also said that Threads users on mobile can follow a thread and receive notifications. This feature apparently hasn’t rolled out to me on iOS – I can’t find it – but I hope to get it soon enough.

These may seem like incremental features, but even small features help make Threads feel like it can be a suitable alternative to X (formerly Twitter). That said, X still seems much more alive to me; Threads still has a way to go to capture the immediacy that X/Twitter is known for. (Not forcing the For You flow would help a lot!)
