Thomas Jefferson University butchers students’ names at graduation

Sarah Virginia Brennan had never heard her name mispronounced before. She then moved on to the baccalaureate stage after graduating from Thomas Jefferson University.

“Sigh-eer Oo-voon-jean-june Bree-nun,” a university official announced to friends and family of graduates who earned a bachelor of science degree from the university’s nursing school .
