“This is tyranny”, “A dark mark on the American political system”

On his Fox News Channel show “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Sunday, Mark Levin delivered a monologue in which he criticized the House Select Committee’s prime-time hearings on the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. United States.

Levin described the committee’s investigation as a “sham” and said it would “go down in history as a dark mark on the American political system.”

“There is no way to find out the truth under this committee,” Levin pointed out. “And what is the purpose of the hearing?” The purpose of a hearing is not to present a show trial produced by Hollywood. The purpose of a hearing is to gather information. They say they had 1,000 witnesses and 140,000 documents. A thousand witnesses and 140,000 documents? To determine what? How to protect the Capitol building? A thousand witnesses, and yet they couldn’t call one more, Nancy Pelosi, to explain what she did or didn’t do. And more and more information is coming out about Nancy Pelosi’s incompetence and irresponsibility – her failure to protect this building.

“Now that’s a sham,” he continued. “It will go down in history as a dark mark on the American political system. You can’t see it now – the crowd is controlling, the crowd is running the media; the propaganda is in full swing. You can’t see it now, but history has a way of making events sober. And we will see this one day as our system’s outrageous attack on the former president, on dozens of people he really is. It is an abomination to the American system – not just for justice, but for our parliamentary and representative system.

“It’s tyranny,” Levin concluded. “You look him in the face.”
