Two Lorient residents who rent an Airbnb in the city center of Lorient. This is surprisingly. The police have their own idea on the matter. According to her, this can be a good way to quietly engage in drug trafficking. The case closed on Thursday seems to demonstrate it.
It all started Tuesday evening with a fight. The owner of a home, located rue Carnot, has just rented it to two men, via the Airbnb platform. He finds them suspicious and therefore returns to see them. A fight breaks out. The police intervene. One of the two occupants, aged 30, has a small amount of narcotics on him. He’s on board. The other is left free.
The next day, the lessor returns to the police station to file a complaint after the fight. The police are therefore looking for the second man, 22 years old. He was arrested on Wednesday, at the beginning of the afternoon, near the Cours de Chazelles. A muscular questioning. The man does not let himself go. It takes three police officers to bring it under control. The key to a hotel room is found on him. In this room, the police get their hands on 5,000 € in cash, 25 g of heroin and 5 g of cocaine.
The two men will soon be tried in the Lorient judicial court. The first, who had a prison sentence to serve, was incarcerated at Ploemeur prison. The other was left free.
