The son of “teen mom” Jenelle Evans hospitalized and under CPS care after another attempt to run away

Sources with direct knowledge tell us that Jenelle’s 14-year-old son ran away from his grandmother’s home on Saturday and wasn’t found until 11:45 p.m. on Sunday. Jace had already fled from Jenelle’s home on several occasions and had been placed in the custody of Jenelle’s mother, Barbara.

Our sources say Jace is now in the hospital and CPS will place him in foster care because he has run away multiple times.

Our sources say Jace was recently arrested for vaping at his school…and when Grandma found out, she confiscated his phone. We’re told that Jenelle, CPS and the foster care team advised Barbara not to give Jace a phone in the first place, but she thought he could handle it.

When Barbara confiscated the phone as punishment, we were told that Jace had separated, sparking this latest search for the teen.

Running away has become a trend for Jace… as we reported, this is at least the fourth time he’s run away from home… including the time in September when he slipped through the window the same day, Jenelle’s husband, David Eisonis accused of manhandle him.

Remember… Jace spent most of his childhood in Barbara’s care, but Jenelle regained custody earlier this year, only for him to run away from home multiple times and end up at her house again Barbara.

As we told you a few weeks ago, Jace keeps his distance from Jenelle and David.
