Over the past day, March 17, Russian troops struck the Kherson region 50 times, injuring three people.
“During the past day, the enemy launched 50 strikes on the Kherson region, firing 237 heavy artillery shells and Grad MLRS,” said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, on Telegram.
The invaders hit the city of Kherson three times. “Seven shells fell on residential areas, private houses and apartment buildings. Unfortunately, three people were injured,” Prokudin noted.
He also added that another 56 people had been evacuated from areas of the region liberated from the Russians.
As reported, the enemy launched 34 airstrikes, 11 of them using Shahed-136 drones, over the past day. Ten drones were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense units, another hit an object of industrial infrastructure. No civilian casualties were reported.
