Russian invaders have already killed 466 children in Ukraine and injured 943 others.
“As of the morning of March 30, 2023, more than 1,409 children were killed and injured in Ukraine as a result of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 466 children were killed and more than 943 suffered more or less serious injuries,” the attorney general’s office said on Telegram.
The numbers are not final. Work is underway to establish losses in areas of armed operations, in temporarily captured and liberated territories.
Most children were killed and injured in Donetsk region – 446, Kharkiv region – 273, Kyiv region – 127, Kherson region – 94, Zaporizhzhia region – 88, Mykolaiv region – 85, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 66, Dnipropetrovsk region – 66.
On March 29, a 16-year-old boy was killed as a car drove over an enemy mine in Barvinkove, Kharkiv region.
A total of 3,126 educational institutions were damaged due to heavy shelling and shelling by the Russian Armed Forces; 438 of them were completely destroyed.
As reported, the Ministry of Reintegration confirmed data on almost 20,000 cases of deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia.
