For two weeks in the south of France, you will be able to enter the high sacred temple of cinema: the Festival de Cannes. This is the place where the red carpet moments are made, where tuxedos are mandatory, and where the audience will stand and cheer for a full nine minutes. Celluloid Night returned in July after last year’s cancellation due to the pandemic.
The Projectionist’s Kyle Buchanan brought his bow tie and face mask to experience the glitz, glamor and, of course, the movies. He shares his highlights from this year’s lineup with our colleague Dodai Stewart.
