Kudos to the Georgia Bulldogs for winning their first National Championship in over 40 years and their third overall. They beat favorite Alabama Crimson Tide by a score of 33-18. It is also the first national championship for head coach Kirby Smart, who only needed six seasons in Athens to pull off the feat. UGA QB Stetson Bennett was named offensive player of the match, the icing on the cake of what was an unlikely but meteoric rise for the senior red shirt. Bennett was visibly moved in the dying moments of Monday night’s victory. In an interview with “GMA” on Tuesday, Bennett shared a few words of wisdom: “You have to work hard. Love the people around you. They have to love you and bet on yourself.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. No matter what the future holds for Bennett, he will forever be a college football legend, leading Georgia to a W against an Alabama juggernaut coached by Nick Saban. So with that in mind, how many NCAA QBs who have won the College Football National Championships since 2000 can you name in five minutes?
