The price of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders has been increased by Rs 100 per cylinder, ANI news agency reported. As a result, the price of a 19 kg commercial bottle in Delhi is now 2,101 rupees.
In Mumbai, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will cost Rs 2,051 compared to Rs 1,950 previously. In Kolkata, the commercial LPG tariff will be Rs 2,177, while in Chennai a 19 kg cylinder will be available for Rs 2,234.50.
However, the tariffs for domestic LPG cylinders remained unchanged.
The price of an unsubsidized 14.2 kg domestic bottle in Delhi now stands at Rs 899.50 per bottle. The price of a bottle of LPG in Kolkata is Rs 926, in Mumbai Rs 899.50. Its price in Chennai is Rs 915.50.
Earlier on November 1, the price of 19 kg commercial bottles increased by Rs 266. On October 1, the price of 19 kg commercial bottles was increased by Rs 43 and decreased by Rs 2.50 on October 6. On September 1, the prices of these cylinders were increased by Rs 75.
Typically, state-owned oil companies change the price of gas cylinders (LPG price) on the first and 15th of each month.
