In the fourth week of the war, more than 3.3 million Ukrainians fled the country, and another 6.5 million people were displaced inside Ukraine, according to the International Organization of United Nations for Migration.

Fighting for Mariupol has now reached the center of the coastal city with Russian forces surrounding it on Saturday.

Russia claims on Friday the use of a Kinzhal hypersonic missile, targeting an underground weapons depot in western Ukraine. If confirmed, it would be the first use of a hypersonic weapon in combat during its offensive in Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for peace in a video address on Saturday, 23 days after Russia launched his invasion.
