Last year, 25 million children worldwide did not receive vaccines that protect them against life-threatening diseases, according to data released Thursday (July 15) by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. This is the biggest drop in childhood vaccination rates in about 30 years according to organizations. “This is the largest sustained decline in childhood vaccinations in about 30 years that has been recorded,” Unicef said in a press release.
