The Palace of Versailles in Paris is being evacuated due to a suspected bomb threat, according to local reports.

It is the second time in days that the former French royal residence has been evacuated, following an anonymous bomb threat on Saturday which also led to the closure of the Louvre museum.
The Palace of Versailles will now be closed on Tuesday “for security reasons”, the Palace of Versailles said on the social network X.
France is currently on the highest state of anti-terrorism alert after a teacher was fatally stabbed at a school in Arras on Friday, with the site later evacuated due to a bomb threat on Monday.

Dozens of staff and students left Gambetta middle and high school, in Arras, in the north of the country, around 10:30 a.m. (9:30 GMT) on Monday after police received threats via their website.
But a bomb squad, including sniffer dogs, found no sign of a bomb and several hundred students and teachers could be seen returning to the school.
The move comes after French teacher Dominique Bernard was allegedly stabbed to death by Mohamed Mogouchkov, a 20-year-old Chechen refugee, last week.
Mogushkov allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” before launching his attack on Bernard, 57.
This prompted French President Emmanuel Macron to call for a “ruthless” approach towards extremists in France, leading to a massive security response in the country.
