With MLB still in labor limbo, many big-name free agents remain available. One of those names is Clayton Kershaw. The three-time Cy Young winner will be 34 at the start of the season, and his best years are likely behind him. He’s unlikely to return to the Dodgers. But teams are still interested in his services, including a team in Kershaw’s home state, the Texas Rangers. The interest is said to be mutual, with one report going so far as to say Kershaw will sign with the Texas Rangers or retire. Rangers have made the biggest splash so far this offseason, and if the rumors are true, they could still have another ace up their sleeve.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Kershaw dominated the National League for a decade, leading the league in strikeouts three times. If he signs with Texas, he will have a chance to mow down players on the junior circuit. So, with that in mind, how many K league leaders for the American and National Leagues since the 2000 MLB season can you name in five minutes?
