The left is going crazy after FL’s vote to eliminate Disney’s special tax district

On Thursday, the radical left went wild after the Florida legislature voted to eliminate Disney’s special tax district.

Governor Ron DeSantis (right) proposed ending Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District in 1967 because the entertainment company was pursuing anti-family and transgender programming for young children.

The Reedy Creek Improvement District is a 50-year-old special law that protects Disney from huge amounts of tax obligations and regulations. The status allows Disney to essentially govern itself. It should be noted that Disney employs 38 lobbyists in Florida and has a strong grip on state Democrats and establishment Republicans.

After the House successfully voted to end the district, the radical left immediately took to Twitter to express their anger over the legislative initiative.

Huffington Post writer Ann Brenoff said Disney should uproot its 25,000-acre theme park resort in Florida and move it elsewhere.

Mississippi Free Press writer Ashton Pittman said the termination was advanced because Disney “dared” to criticize the state’s “hateful law attacking LGBTQ children.”

Political brand strategist Rachel Bitecofer, who hosts a Ukrainian flag in her Twitter bio, said the Republicans’ initiative was simply to show “they’ve got you by the balls.”

Rosanna Arquette, an “activist” who says “Racism is terrorism,” said Democrats should register more voters to change the law. Republicans have passed Democrats in voter registration for the first time in Florida history in recent months.

The USA Singers, who stand “with democracy” and oppose “fascism,” said Republicans want to cancel “Disney, Sesame Street, Mr. Potato Head, football, baseball, basketball, NASCAR, Democracy and Free and Fair Elections”.

Judd Legum, who writes “Popular Information” and is “dedicated to accountability journalism,” said Republicans are abusing power. Florida Republicans control the House, Senate and Governorship.

Mr. Jeremy Newberger, “Emmy-nominated filmmaker, television producer, joke writer,” tweeted that “Florida doesn’t want the kind of tourists that visit Disney. They would prefer the kind of tourists who visited the Capitol on 1/6.
