MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Arc of Madison County serves people of all ages with developmental disabilities, including children.
The nonprofit’s Infant and Toddler program is for people from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or who have been diagnosed with a condition that is highly likely to end in developmental delay. .
They offer 17 different services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Services are free and there is no waiting list for eligible children.
Early intervention services work directly with parents and caregivers with the goal of giving them the tools they need to help their children learn and participate in daily activities.
