The Fed will hike 50 basis points in each of its next four policy meetings – BNP Paribas

There are only five meetings left for the year, which will see the target range for the fed funds rate reach 2.75% to 3.00% by November. This is roughly the approximate range the Fed is anticipating this tightening cycle and roughly where markets still have appetite for rate hikes.

For now, I would say the markets are well on their way to a 50 basis point move in June and July and we will slowly adjust accordingly for subsequent meetings, one step at a time.
