“The far left hates everyone, including themselves”

Elon Musk said on Friday that people on the far left have a deep dislike for others and themselves, but added that he was not a fan of the far right.

“The far left hates everyone, including themselves!” he wrote in a Twitter post that morning.

He later appeared to clarify his comments, in writing“But I’m not a fan of the far right either. Let’s have less hate and more love.

Subscribers made their thoughts on the matter known in their replies.

“Less hate requires content moderation. That’s right,” a user claims while another mentioned“There is no extreme right. Anyone who is even slightly right of center is extreme right for the left.

Meanwhile, left-leaning Twitter profiles were bleeding followers while conservative profiles were winning them over after the Tesla CEO’s successful bid to buy the social media giant, Breitbart News reported on Wednesday:

On Tuesday, Twitter told AFP that the fluctuations in follower numbers appeared to be organic, and largely due to the creation of new accounts and the deactivation of existing ones. The platform’s conservatives also credit the return of accounts that were previously banned by Twitter’s censorship-happy left-wing employees.

Musk’s purchase of Twitter comes after he raised concerns about the stifling of free speech harmful to society, and said he wanted to increase trust in Twitter, which he sees as a digital public square for people to engage in free speech and debate.

Leaked internal messages from Twitter’s Slack communications showed staffers panicking over Musk’s takeover.

A worker who identified as a “non-binary and plural transgender person” wrote: “Physically I am scared to watch Elon talk about free speech”, while a senior engineer said: “We we all go through the five stages of grief in cycles and everyone’s nerves are shattered.

Despite their fears, a majority of Americans approved of Musk’s offer to buy Twitter, according to recent poll results.

In a tweet posted Wednesday, Musk Told her followers, “Let’s make Twitter fun!”
