The Exynos 2400 chipset would come with a 10-core processor

Samsung released the Galaxy S23 series last week, all of which have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets. The Korean manufacturer hasn’t launched its own Exynos platform for flagships, but it’s still working on it, according to the latest rumors.

ice universe, known for its accurate information on Samsung products, revealed that an Exynos 2400 is in the works. The chipset processor will switch from octa-core architecture and will have 10 cores – 1x Cortex-X4 + 2x Cortex-A720 (higher frequency) + 3x Cortex-A720 (lower frequency) + 4x Cortex-520.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra

There’s no information on which smartphone this possible chipset might power – the foldables, which usually launch in the summer, have used Qualcomm chipsets since their inception. Given that Exynos 2100 arrived in 2021 for the S21 series and Exynos 2200 followed suit a year later, it is reasonable to expect Exynos 2400 in twelve months for the Galaxy S24 line.
