The European Parliament “photographs protesting interpreters”

An administrator of the European Parliament took photos of a dozen internal interpreters demonstrating on Thursday in front of the Agriculture Committee, according to a source familiar with the matter. Interpreters are protesting remote sessions due to poor sound quality leading to hearing health issues and the fact that parliament is now contracting out the work to others. The committee was in session remotely with the United Nations World Food Programme.
