The campaign against our yeshivas

The multi-year campaign to undermine Hasidic education in New York State continued its march forward this week. Tuesday, two days after the New York Times released a lengthy “survey” of the state’s yeshivas, the Board of Regents unanimously approved a new set of curricula. The motivation, according to the council, is to protect children who “do not receive a quality education”.

However, one important voice has been absent from these deliberations: parents with children in the yeshiva.
