CHICAGO (CBS) – An arctic air mass is blocked in our area, keeping a northwesterly wind flow in place.

According to Mary Kay Kleist, a CBS 2 meteorologist, this high pressure ridge will drift overhead tonight, relaxing the wind flow.
On Tuesday, this ridge moves towards the Ohio Valley. This position will create a gusty southerly wind flow. The weather will be dry and uneventful for the next few days. We will be monitoring the chances of snow at the end of the work week.
